What is Long Black | Long Espresso?

A Long Black or Long Espresso is made by pouring a double shot of espresso with strong aroma and taste. The term “Long” refers to the fact that this is simply a double espresso shot, no extra water is added apart from what is used to brew the coffee, served with a small jug of hot water on side to adjust the strength of the coffee. A good fresh Long Espresso will have a thick golden coffee crema on top. It is served in a tulip cup (140ml).
